Many of the spatial, directional, tactile brain processing tasks students do daily in our program have a tremendous impact on changing the way people with Dyslexia or other reading/writing challenges actually think, decode or encode language.

In recent years the diagnosis of Dyslexia is rarely given. The word has disappeared from schools. It’s as though if you don’t say the words Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and Dysgraphia the challenges will simply go away. Anyone struggling with these issues knows that is not true.


As a parent of a child who struggles with these issues or an adult who continues to have challenges; it has become increasingly difficult to get to the root of the problem as diagnoses and labels keep changing.

At HELP, we don’t concern ourselves with official labels or diagnosis. Our goal is to improve the processing of everyone going through our Brain Power Program.

Approximately 15% of the population of the United States is affected by a Language Processing Disorder. These processing challenges affect reading, writing, math and other forms of written expression.

Formerly used terms such as Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, and Dysgraphia are now grouped with other disorders of written expression.
